CPR range
The CPR-30/Plus is used for a large variety of applications such as: drilling, trimming of micro palets, laser measurement, in other words applications that require high precision. In the CPR-30/Plus a “state-of-the-art” controller has been integrated which makes them faster, more precise but more quiet than the standard CPR-30. This machine is very appropriate to do 3D-modelling. With a 70 mm Z-axis this machine has enough freedom of movement to mill most models with the highest possible precision.
This machine uses a profile rail guiding system which gives a high positioning and movement accuracy. Because rolling resistance is used, high speed with low power can be obtained. These guidings have an extremely long life-expectancy.
Construction of the Colinbus CPR-30/Plus range is fully based on Stealt technology: a combination of steel and aluminium that is also used in many modern cars and aeroplanes. Both materials have their own specific advantages and offer a large variety of possibilities if they are combined in the proper way. Steel brings the required weight and volume and the stress-free aluminium is responsible for unseen acceleration and deceleration curves. Colinbus is the only manufacturer to apply this technology in machines of this price range.
Stealt Technology
High-precision linear guidings
The high-level machines use ball lead screws. They are nuts that are filled with small balls that glide over a spindle (screw thread). The standard systems however have a small bit of play. Having no play would cause the nut to block. This small bit of play causes some deviations which are nearly visible in common milling work, but come clearly forward when doing high-precision (µm) work. The Colinbus CPR-30/Plus uses “Zero Backlash” technology. Special nuts are used that undo the “backlash” – as this play is called.
Multi-functional fixation table
A heavy face-milled T-nut table forms the basics of a Colinbus CPR-30/Plus machine. This table in combination with the flexible software gives the user the possibility to fix the material in a number of different ways: by means of a movable strip in the middle of the machine, by corner alignment or by entering a new zero point anywhere on the table.
Spindle motor
Because this machine can be used for numerous different applications, no spindle motor is part of the standard equipment. Ask your dealer for more information on the proper motor to be used for your application.

Drivers

The CPR-30/Plus is equipped with powerful Hybrid motors that are operated by high-precision drivers.
Colinbus CPR-30/Plus machines are delivered with professional CAM software and a user-friendly User Interface. After reading the file (most file formats are automatically recognised) the software calculates the milling paths around the geometry. Using the files is only a matter of pushing buttons in the Colinbus software. It is fully automatized. The user never leaves the Windows environment, even the work piece is virtually put on the machine. The user himself can decide whether the machines saves a file and executes the job automatically or to have the machine in communication with the User Interface during the complete process. One of these options is often used as a sales argument. Colinbus goes one step further and leaves the choice up to the user.
