The CBR machines are delivered as standard with professional CAM and operating software. That’s quite a bargain, as software of this quality often costs more than the CBR machine itself.
Because CBR machines are frequently used by people with no previous experience of machining, much thought has gone into user-friendliness. For this reason RAMS was selected. This CAM software is of American origin and is very user-friendly. The user is guided through all processes, from loading the file to controlling the machine. Colinbus has a few very young users (eleven years old) and they were able to mill a toy without any help. Childishly simple, wouldn't you say?
Colinbus User Interface: unrivalled simplicity and power
RAMS
the CAM solution
You can check and control the machine via the supplied User Interface. Thanks to this software, inexperienced users can perform any tooling tasks they want. Experienced machine operators can even adjust the control commands and program the machine, independently of the CAM software. This software has been developed for all levels.
The visual environment allows you to make marvellous simulations. The loaded file is applied to the virtual machine. The workpiece is created in exactly the same place as where you positioned it on the screen. Manual control of all axes, reading of memory points to the micron, relative zero positions: if you can name it, you can do it. Even now, the Colinbus User Interface is being expanded on a daily basis and adjusted to the specific wishes and needs of users. This software owes much of its power and flexibility to the input from the large Colinbus user group.
