Ultrasonic vibration of 40000 cycle per second on cutting blade reduces
cutting resistance dramatically and makes it easy to cut various materials such as rubber, thermoplastics, leather, prepregs and other materials hard-to-cut with conventional knife blade.
Light pressure on cutting blade and no vibration on operator’s hand are some of the advantages.
How does Ultrasonic work?
- The Oscillator generates 40kHz high frequency from AC 100/200V 50/60Hz
to activate the transducer installed in hand-piece.
- The Hand-piece (Transducer) transmits the high frequency electric energy to
mechanical vibration of the same frequency of 40kHz.
- The tool vibrates longitudinally with 10 to 40 micron at 40kHz.
Advantages of Ultrasonic Vibration
- High removal rate
- Lighter pressure on tool
- No vibration on operator’s hand
Invisible but minute and very fast ultrasonic vibration on tool tips provides a perfect solution for time consuming hand works in mold finishing, cutting hard-to-cut materials, wood engraving and jewelry burnishing.
