Colinbus ElectroMill
For machining electrical boxes
No limits on box dimensions!
Electrical boxes and job site boxes usually require a lot of manual machining. These boxes, which are often fairly large, need to have holes and grooves machined on the front and sides. As it has been virtually impossible to do this work on a CNC machine, in most cases it has been done manually. Now this situation has changed, since Colinbus has developed a machine that can mill in two planes: vertical and horizontal.
This makes it possible to use the table under the bridge for machining flat objects, such as doors, while the side table can be used to machine the boxes. The main advantage of this is that there are no limits on the box dimensions – in fact, the boxes may be much larger than the table. With supports for the box located near the machine, the only limiting factor is the available space in the room.
Engraving as well as hole milling
The Colinbus ElectroMill machine can do more than just mill holes and grooves – it can also engrave nameplates and marker plates. In addition, you can engrave directly on the box, which is very convenient for marking non-removable registration numbers. The software delivered as standard enables you to use all available fonts and provides an incredible degree of creative freedom for milling operations. Importing diagrams and drawings is also easy.
User-friendly software
This machine is specially designed for people who have never worked with a machine tool. It is extremely easy to use. For example, you can import supplied drawings or draw circles, rectangles and other shapes directly and save them. Engraving is also possible without the aid of any other software package.
Convenient mounting and many extra features
Both tables have T slots for easy clamping of boxes and other objects, and a large variety of aids can be fitted in the slots to simplify positioning. A vacuum table is also an available as an option.
In combination with suitable accessories, the ElectroMill can also be used for other jobs such as potting electronic assemblies, applying glues, camera inspection, and so on...
