The Profiler is a general-purpose milling machine; it is not specifically designed as a PCB milling machine. Nevertheless, hundreds of users are able to produce attractive PCBs with this machine. However, the manufacture cannot provide any guarantee in this regard.
A general selection of Profile accessories is described below. These are handy accessories that are of interest to most users. Vacuum tablePrice: 280 EuroWebshop
This option ensures that the material is drawn tightly against the surface of the work table. It is strongly recommended for routing or milling stencils, thin PCB material, film and foil. A vacuum table is also an attractive option for high-quality engraving work. A suitable vacuum pump is optionally available. As an alternative, you may be able to use a vacuum cleaner, but you should first check whether it can operate for an extended period with the inlet blocked. Otherwise there is a risk of fire due to overheating.
This table is made specifically for the Profiler and fits perfectly in the machine.

Although this vacuum pump cannot produce extremely high vacuum (rated pressure: 23 kPa), it has a large capacity (2400 L) and is affordable. This makes it an ideal choice for use with a perforated vacuum table in the Profiler format. Even relatively small objects are held rigidly in place. The powerful 1200-W motor can easily handle long-duration jobs, even with the table fully covered.

A T-slot table made from extruded aluminium. This table is milled on both sides, which makes it ideal for clamping workpieces. With the optional accessory clamping system, you can mount and machine your workpieces in a jiffy.

Unlike commercial router motors, the Colinbus IAC-500 is a genuine CNC spindle motor suitable for machining operations. It has a rated power of 500 watts at 230V AC with a torque of 0.14 Nm, and its speed can be varied over the range of 11,000 to 25,000 rpm. This is an ideal milling motor for the Profiler.

When you order the IAC-500, you should also order one or more collets. What you need depends on the tools you intend to use. The standard in the PCB industry is 1/8 inch. With a 1/8 inch collet, you can use all the tools included in the accessory PCB tool set.
The following sizes are always in stock: 3 mm, 1/8inch, 4 mm, 5mm, and 6 mm. Other sizes are available on request.

This motor is made for extremely precise work, and it comes from professional range of Colinbus products. It is supplied with a frequency converter and a heat sink. The motor fits in the motor clamp of the Profiler, and the converter can be placed next to the machine. The rated power is 265 W, and the speed is variable from 5,000 to 60,000 rpm. Supplied ready to use with a 1/8 inch tool clamp.

This professional tool set includes all the tools you need for milling and drilling printed circuit boards. These tools are made from solid submicrograin carbide to withstand the harsh conditions of machining hard epoxy material. Each tool comes with a stop ring, so you can also use them with the special engraving functions provided by ColiDrive.

Essential for milling aluminium and other light metals, and recommended for a large variety of plastics. With the right cooling, you can mill faster and the results are much nicer. This micro cooling system can be adjusted very precisely, so you can keep your workspace tidy while still providing adequate cooling. Note: this system requires a supply of compressed air.

ColiCam is a powerful CAM package that is nevertheless easy to use. After installation, it merges seamlessly with ColiDrive (the control software for the Profiler). Despite its powerful features, this package is easy to use. Prior knowledge of CNC is not required. Simply read in your CAD drawings and let ColiCam do the rest. Profiler users had this on their wish list, and now it′s available.
